Solutions & Funds strengthens its Zurich location
Christoph Widmer joins Solutions & Funds as Head Fund Projects Securities & Alternatives as well as Head IT & Project Office, in a move to expand the fund management company's Zurich team, which recently relocated to its new business premises on Schweizergasse.
As of September Christoph Widmer, an experienced finance specialist, has taken over as Head Fund Projects Securities & Alternatives and has also assumed the role of Head IT & Project Office. Widmer was previously CRO, CFO and Head Real Estate at PvB Pernet von Ballmoos AG and prior to that he worked at GAM Investment Management Switzerland for over 10 years. As a result of his various roles at Clariden Leu and GAM Investment Management, he has over two decades of experience in launching new products and services in the financial sector. His expertise is backed by his postgraduate studies in corporate management, MAS in Banking and MAS Real Estate Management.

With Christoph Widmer joining the team, Solutions & Funds further strengthens its location in Zurich. In its pursuit of a stronger foothold in the German-speaking Swiss market, the fund management company has already tripled the size of its Zurich team since the opening of its location there in 2018. This successful growth strategy is also evident in their recent move to new office premises. The Zurich team has relocated from Uraniastrasse to Schweizergasse, right in the heart of Zurich city and next to the main train station.
