Cyril Durussel

Cyril Durussel, Associate Director - Deputy Head Sales & Marketing, joined Solutions & Funds in November 2020. Initially active in the Real Estate Administration team, he joined the Sales & Marketing department in April 2022 and since then has been looking after clients on real estate funds and supporting business development and marketing activities of Solutions & Funds.
Cyril started his career at Credit Suisse in 2014 with a banking education for high school graduates before continuing with an employment education at the HEG in Fribourg. In parallel to his studies, Cyril held the position of Senior Corporate Advisory within the real estate team specialized for the French-speaking market before joining the French-speaking Swiss management as Junior Business Manager at the end of 2019.
Cyril holds a bilingual (FR/DE) Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Haute École de Gestion Fribourg and is a lecturer in financial mathematics at the USPI Vaud.

Can you describe your responsibilities and tasks at S&F? I joined the Sales & Marketing team at the beginning of 2022 and I'm in charge of customer relations with our various clients. This gives me the opportunity to talk to our customers on a daily basis and to respond to their needs as effectively as possible. Alongside that, I also have the opportunity to develop S&F's marketing, organise events, develop the company's image externally, and manage our communication channels.

What are your passions outside S&F? Ice hockey - I've been playing since I was 5. Whether I'm playing it or going to see a match with friends, I'm always up for it.

Please describe your typical office hours? I'm usually the last to arrive in the morning, but never the last to leave. There's always someone who has that honor - In the evening, it depends on the season. In summer, the aperitif starts earlier.

What's your favorite restaurant? Ristorante Amici in Lausanne, an excellent Italian restaurant. It has everything you need, Italian food, good wine, and often long evenings with friends. It couldn't be better!


What distinguishes Solutions & Funds from your other employers? Coming from a big bank, I was able to find a company on a human scale where my ideas are listened to and taken into consideration. That makes you want to get involved and it's a recognition that's really appreciated. S&F also offers a great deal of flexibility, with the possibility of working in Morges, Zurich, on the move, or at home, and a working environment where all languages are spoken. And you can even play table tennis in the office!
